Role: Process Design Engineer (Water/Wastewater)
Location: Northern Ireland (projects across UK & ROI)
Type: Full-time | Permanent | Monthly Paid
Salary: Up To 65k + Benefits
About the Role:
You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team designing and delivering innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions. Working closely with engineers from civil, electrical, mechanical, and automation backgrounds, you’ll take the lead in developing process designs, producing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead process design on water/wastewater projects across the UK and Ireland
Produce engineering calculations, reports, and specifications
Evaluate treatment options and optimise process performance
Liaise with suppliers and in-house teams to develop turnkey solutions
Support tenders and ensure project delivery to time, quality, and cost targets
Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained
What We’re Looking For:
Degree-qualified in Process, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
5–10 years' experience in municipal water/wastewater treatment
Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
Skilled in using proprietary design and modelling software
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
