Design Engineer

 We are working with a successful design, manufacturer and supplier of engineered solutions to the construction & build sectors nationally and internationally to recruit for their new Design / Project Engineer to join them in Cookstown.

Working within a dedicated team you will work across the design, specification and pricing of products and subsequent customer focused follow through of projects, this will include;

• Preparation of accurate, competitive and detailed technical schedules


• Produce cost variations post order to support the live projects team


• Follow up schedules with customers via phone calls and emails to build relationships with key contacts


• Provide basic calculations to the current standard for all products specified.


• Provide detailed handovers to the project team when orders are received.

What we are looking for…

• 2 years industrial experience, within a similar role


• Confident in interpreting technical drawings


• Knowledge and understanding of the construction process


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Experience of using Bluebeam and AutoCAD desirable
