We are working with a successful design, manufacturer and supplier of engineered solutions to the construction & build sectors nationally and internationally to recruit for their new Design / Project Engineer to join them in Cookstown.
Working within a dedicated team you will work across the design, specification and pricing of products and subsequent customer focused follow through of projects, this will include;
- Preparation of accurate, competitive and detailed technical schedules
- Produce cost variations post order to support the live projects team
- Follow up schedules with customers via phone calls and emails to build relationships with key contacts
- Provide basic calculations to the current standard for all products specified.
- Provide detailed handovers to the project team when orders are received.
What we are looking for…
- 2 years industrial experience, within a similar role
- Confident in interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge and understanding of the construction process
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience of using Bluebeam and AutoCAD desirable
