Following a succession of new contracts one north-east building firm aims to increase its turnover by £25 million this year, reports reveal.

Frank Haslam Milan (FHM) has also revealed plans to create 40 new jobs to resource an influx of new contracts for council housing groups.

Graham Scanlon, strategic regeneration manager at FHM, said: "With an increasing need for affordable new build homes in the region the new build housing team will be strengthened. We had a very successful end to 2007 which means we are gearing up for a very busy 2008."

"What is particularly exciting about this year is that we will be extending our skills by delivering in new markets and services. This will create vacancies for new people with new skills who will benefit from working with an extremely supportive employer which encourages learning and development," he added.

FHM recently completed a £3.5 million regeneration project, redeveloping housing in the Dronfield area.ADNFCR-1196-ID-18443693-ADNFCR
