Hundreds of jobs to be created at Cambridgeshire business park

05/11/2008

Hundreds of jobs will be created as part of a £10 million project to build a new business park in Cambridgeshire, it has emerged.

Over 300 people are already working on the project, but 250 new jobs will now be created as the work scheme expands.

Endurance Estates is behind the project and is expecting strong demand for the office accommodation due to an overall shortage of such space around the UK.

Tim Holmes, development director at Endurance, told Cambridge News: "We are building here because we have absolute confidence there is a demand for this type of development in Cambridgeshire."

"The recession has an effect, but we are confident we can buck the trend with a good product and attractive location," he added.

The project will be backed up by a new guided bus route between St Ives and Cambridge which will provide a key transport link as the park grows.ADNFCR-1196-ID-18860207-ADNFCR
